Gifts of Cash

This is the most straightforward and frequently used method of supporting the Library. Through currency, online, personal check, money order or bank draft made payable to the Lucy Robbins Welles Library Inc., charitable deductions on your federal income taxes may allow you to reduce the out-of-pocket cost of your gift, benefiting you as well.

Monetary Donations

The library is pleased to receive monetary donations that will be used to further the purposes of the library. Specific desires of donors will be honored to the maximum extent possible to carry out those purposes. All donations will be acknowledged.

Monetary or Honorary Book Donations

In the case of memorial or honorary gifts, the donor should provide the appropriate information to the Head of Collection Development; all pertinent people will be notified. All materials purchased with memorial gifts will contain a gift plate listing names of the donor and the person honored. See gift plates now available.

750 anniversary club button

Join the “750 Anniversary Club”

Established in 2004 as a means for patrons and supporters to celebrate their own anniversaries, birthdays and other milestones with a $75 donation to the Library. All proceeds will go toward future library development.  You may elect to have your donation made in honor or memory of a person, organization or place. You will receive acknowledgement of your gift.

”Stack the Racks”

A donation of $30 will help us “Stack the Racks” with all funds going towards the purchase of books, audio books, and e-books. "Stack the Racks" was started as an alternative way to honor the Lucy Robbins Welles Library's many years of service to the community.
