The leaf collection program operates during the months of November and December and consists of 24 full and part time employees including Parks and Grounds personnel.
The Highway Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Town roads including pot holes, road settlements, drainage issues, storm water basins, and watercourse maintenance.
Town streets are swept at least once a year in the Spring and as needed at other times to maintain clean and sanitary conditions for vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Town crews generally begin sweeping in early April.
