    Volunteer Teddy Bear Doctors are running a popup repair clinic at the library for teddy bears, all gently loved stuffed toys and their clothing. Parks and Recreation Events

  1. Community Gardens - Last day of returning gardeners to reserve existing plot

    March 29, 2019, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM @ Deming Young Farm

    The Community Gardens are located next to the Deming-Young Farm property at 282 Church Street. Plot sizes are 20 x 20 feet and will be roto-tilled and marked. Community Gardens are open to Newington residents only. The date of planting will be dependent on soil and weather conditions, but is anticipated to be mid-spring. Water will be available, but please bring your own containers. Registration is sold at the Parks and Recreation office in the Mortensen Community Center.
