Newington is not only a great place to live and work, but also provides a great base for commerce and recreation as well.

Crisscrossed with State Arterial Roads , Newington has easy vehicular access to Interstate Highways 84 and 91 and is only 25 minutes from Bradley International Airport.

Five bus routes provide service along many of the main retail and employment corridors.

CTfastrak, Connecticut’s first Rapid Bus Transportation network, has two stops in Newington, at Cedar Street and Newington Junction, both poised for well-planned Transit Oriented Development.

A commuter rail system, the Hartford Line, began service in 2018 with a new station proposed for Newington to be complete by 2022.  That will connect Newington by rail to Springfield, New Haven, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC and beyond.
