Freading is an eBook service where Newington library cardholders can download eBooks for free. Freading holds thousands of eBooks and is always adding more to the collection, such as the addition of travel books published by Lonely Planet. This is a unique eBook service that differs from others in that eBooks are available to users simultaneously, without waiting in line.
This collection offers full-text titles with unlimited access designed specifically for public libraries. Featuring fiction and nonfiction titles for adults, teens and children, as well as containing a wide range of subjects and topics to meet patron’s research and recreational needs.
A valid Connecticut public library card is required.
