  • You may reserve a pass online with your Adult Library Card from home or you may call the library at 860-665-8700 to reserve a pass. If it is a Print-on-Demand pass, just print and go. You may reserve passes up to 90 days in advance. To reserve a pass online, please visit

  • Your physical pass should be available after 1 p.m. on the day before your reservation. Because we cannot control when the pass is actually returned, we advise you to please call 860-665-8700 to determine if your pass is available. Your pass must be checked out from the library with the same library card that was used to make the reservation. Reservations must be made with an Adult Library Card.   • You may reserve 4 passes per month but you may not exceed 1 reservation per month for the same museum. During the summer and other high use periods passes will be limited to one per week up to 4 per month. If you fail to pick up passes twice in a 90 day period you will be blocked from reserving passes for 90 days. There is a $5 per day fine if the physical pass is not returned on time and the replacement fee for a lost physical pass is the cost of the pass. Print-on-Demand passes do not need to be returned, are only good for the day of the reservation and expire at he end of that day. For more information, please call 860-665-8700.

  • The physical pass is checked out until noon the day after your visit to the museum. We request that you return by noon the day after your visit to the museum so it will be available for other patrons. Passes should be returned to the circulation desk. The book drop may be used when the library is closed. Print-on-Demand passes do not need to be returned. For more information, please call 860-665-8700.

  • Passes allow a set number of people to attend the attraction or museum for a reduced rate or free admission. Patrons must abide by the conditions that each location sets forth. For more information, please call 860-665-8700.

  • Yes, if you wish to visit a museum on a day that the Library is closed, please contact the Library to arrange to pick up the physical pass on the day prior to the Library's closed day(s). Print-on-Demand passes may be printed an any time. For more information, please call 860-665-8700.

  • If you reserve a physical pass and change your plans, you may cancel your own reservation or call 860-665-8700 and a staff person would be happy to cancel the reservation for you. Print-on Demand pass reservations will need to be changed or modified by a staff person. Print-on-Demand passes are invalid after the day of the reservation.
     
    To cancel your reservation for a physical pass: 
    1. Go to the Museum Online page
    2. Click on Log In and login with your library card number and your PIN (Your pin is the same number you use to access your library card account online).
    3. A list of your reservations will appear. Click on the Cancel button and then click Yes to confirm your cancellation.
    4. Your reservation will be removed from your List of Reservations. Log out of your account and then you are all set.
