Yes. You must submit a plan from a licensed engineer showing the drainage line you wish to tie in. The plan is submitted for approval to the Town Engineer’s office. After it is approved, you will also be required to execute a drainage agreement which holds the town harmless in the event the town’s drainage system backs up into your property.
