The Newington Police Department is looking for a Part Time Animal Control Officer to work 2 days a week/up to 19 hours per week (dates to be determined).  This position investigates complaints regarding animals in the Towns of Newington and Wethersfield and enforces the laws of the State and Town Ordinances in Newington and Wethersfield.   Having experience and the ability to handle and safely control a wide variety of animals is preferred.   Further information and applications (deadline April 23, 2019) can be obtained by contacting the Ms. Heather Shonty in the Town Manager's Office, 860-665-8528.
