Stop & Shops on Kitts Lane and Fenn Rd., Newington will be collecting food to benefit the Newington Food Bank.Volunteers will be collecting non-perishable food and personal hygiene items: Canned Fruits, Canned Vegetables(peas, carrots, and mixed preferred), Canned Soups, Canned Fish/Protein, Rice(white &/or brown), Cereal, Canned/Dried Beans, Peanut Butter, Pasta( regular &/or whole grain), Hygiene Items( Shampoo, Toothpaste, Deodorant,etc.), Diapers(children/adults), Non-Food Essentials( HH cleaning items, Paper Products, etc.). Volunteers will also distribute this list to shoppers visiting all participating Stop & Shop locations on Saturday, April 13.  Thank you for your anticipated support of this worthwhile project.
