During winter weather, water at the ground surface may freeze.

Ponded water should infiltrate into the ground or drain over time.

The Town has greater than 5,000 public catch basins in town. The Town cannot maintain all 5,000+ drainage structures. Please assist town staff (most are your neighbors) and your neighbors by removing leaves and debris from catch basins and drainage waterways on or near your property to promote drainage. Maintenance of private catch basins and yard drains is the responsibility of the property owner, not TON.
