Newington Human Services is distributing new backpacks, school supplies (and socks!!) to eligible* households with school-aged children (under age 21) on Monday, August 28, 4:00-6:45p.m.

If you are currently registered with the foodbank and in need of backpacks and school supplies for your school aged child(ren) including preschool and college, please visit the event.

 *Eligibility: Must be a Newington resident who is currently registered with the foodbank.  If you are not registered with the foodbank but are experiencing financial hardship, please contact Karen Gagliardi at 860.665.8590 for an appointment to determine eligibility.
