Residents are reminded not to place leaves or grass in their trash or recycling containers as the containers will not be emptied. These items may be brought to the Town Landfill (proof of residency required) during operating hours currently Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Beginning April 1st hours will return to Saturdays and Sundays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents are also asked not to rake leaves and sticks to the curb as they will not be picked up. Vegetation such as sticks and brush can be brought to the Town Landfill (permit required) during normal operating hours.  Landfill permits may be obtained at the Highway Garage (281 Milk Lane) or the Town Clerk's office (Town Hall).
