House of Heroes, a nonprofit that helps veterans and/or their spouses with simple home repairs, free of charge, is looking for veterans in Hartford County area for service projects over the next few months.

Basic Requirements: Must be a military or public safety veteran or their spouse (DD 214 Discharge paperwork required) who is in need of financial and/or physical assistance with home repairs AND owns and occupies the home to be repaired.
