Beginning Saturday, April 5th the Town's Transfer Station will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Residents are reminded a valid Transfer Station permit is required to dispose of vegetation. Permits may be obtained at the Town Highway Garage, 281 Milk Lane or the Town Clerk's office located at the Town Hall, 200 Garfield St.
Residents may dispose of grass and leaves along with other acceptable recycling items with proof of residency. Please contact the Sanitation Department with any questions (860)-667-5874.
As a reminder mixed loads of vegetation are not allowed and will not be accepted at the Transfer Station. Grass and leaves must be separated from sticks, branches and other woody debris and placed in their designated areas.
