Due to weather conditions, construction of the Traffic Island at the intersection of Alumni Rd and Cedar St. has been postponed to January 13th.
During work hours, Alumni Rd at Cedar Street will be closed to traffic and the gate will be open for public access to Alumni Rd from Willard Ave.
Construction is anticipated to Last 2-3 Weeks.
The newly installed traffic island will direct traffic to be right turn in/right turn out only. If you have any questions please reach out to the Town of Newington Engineering Department at 860-665-8570.
