Last day to pay January taxes without interest is Wednesday, February 1^st.  If you are responsible for your real estate payment and cannot locate your tax bill, contact the Tax Office at 860-665-8540. Envelopes stamped by the US Postal service will be honored. Interest is charged on February 2^nd. There are no exceptions per CT State Statute.

The Town also has a secure online payment & electronic billing service which offers you flexibility to enjoy 24/7 access.    You can pay your taxes 24/7 by credit/debit card or by check through our online vendor, Invoice Cloud, who charges a service fee for online payments.  

Online Credit/Debit card payment fee is 2.95% of the payment. Online payments made by check are $.95 per transaction.  Any prior year taxes will be paid first. If a motor vehicle release is needed, releases can be processed five business days after online payments.

The Tax Office does not accept debit/credit card payments in the office or by telephone.

                             Fri. 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
