Two people were killed in a 4-vehicle traffic crash that occurred on East Cedar St. (Rt175) at Patricia M. Genova Dr. in Newington. The crash occurred yesterday morning shortly after 9:30 am. A third person who sustained serious injuries was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Officer Eric Chapdelaine at (860) 594-6238.
The deceased are identified as:
Mark Steiner, age 61
East Hampton, CT
Alexis Soto, age 29
Wethersfield, CT
