Newington residents will now be able to recycle their old mattresses and box springs at the Town's Transfer Station located at 2045 Main Street. A roll of container has been placed at the transfer station where these items may be dropped off to be recycled.  Mattresses and box springs must be clean, dry and not severely damaged in order to be accepted through the program.  For a list of acceptable items and more information on the program visit the Town of Newington's mattress recycling page.
