The Town of Newington Engineering Department in collaboration with Parks & Recreation, is excited to announce that work will soon begin to replace the bridge at Mill Pond Falls. Starting Monday, November 25, the path at the bridge, as well as the staircase next to the Falls, will be closed for a period of 2-3 weeks during the removal of the old bridge and the installation of the new bridge. For safety, it is requested that the public respect the closure and stay behind the fenced off areas.
