Newington Electric Company (NEC) will be installing underground wiring and conduits to upgrade the Garfield Street parking lot lighting and install infrastructure associated with electric vehicle charging stations. The work is expected to start on September 16th and take approximately three weeks.
These parking areas will need to be closed as shown to accommodate our contractor and to maintain public safety. Please utilize the open lots first during the project and if additional parking is needed please utilize the lower lot of the Town Hall.
Portions of the Garfield Street driveway may need to be closed intermittently as necessary.
