Dog license/tags are good for one year only and must be renewed every year by June 30th. Please go to the Town Clerks office to renew your pet’s license.
If registering/licensing a new dog, the dog must be six months old to get registered and licensed and that is done by applying to The Town Clerk of Newington. The dog owner must have proof of an up to date Rabies Vaccination from a Licensed Veterinary Clinic when applying for the license. If the dog has been altered, please show proof of that also and the license fee will be reduced.
