    January 28, 2021, 9:00 AM - December 30, 2021, 12:00 PM @ Newington Human Services: First parking spots on the left on Mazzacolli Way. ( Call 860-665-8590 once you have arrived and food will be brought outside)

    Town residents with income of < 235% of the poverty level may call 860-665-8590 to schedule an appointment to register to use the food bank- one time per month.

    Learn how to access ebooks, audiobooks, movies, and more using Hoopla. This video will cover signing up for a Hoopla account and downloading/accessing titles. (Hoopla can be used with a valid Newington library card, or with a valid card from any other library that subscribes to Hoopla). Video will be available on the library’s website on the day of the program.

  3. Virtual Author Visit - Martha Hall Kelly

    We are excited to announce that in collaboration with 4 other area libraries, Newington will be hosting native New Englander and popular author Martha Hall Kelly, author of Lilac Girls, Lost Roses, and the recently released Sunflower Sisters for a live virtual program on September 14. Registration is required to receive the zoom link. Co-sponsored by the Lucy Robbins Welles Library, Wethersfield Public Library, Berlin-Peck Memorial Library, Cora J. Belden Library, and Cromwell Belden Public Library.
