The Board of Trustees of the Lucy Robbins Welles Library is committed to protecting your privacy. Information provided as part of the giving process will be used by the Fund Development Committee for the purpose of ensuring that your contribution is appropriately recorded, processed, tracked and properly recognized. Personal information contained in the Lucy Robbins Welles Library database is used only for Library related business. 2. Does my gift really make a difference?

3. What are the tax benefits of making a gift?

Most gifts to the Lucy Robbins Welles Library are tax deductible. If you make any type of gift, we will send you a receipt in the mail; please keep this receipt for your records. 6. Does the Board of Trustees have a Gift Acceptance Policy?

Yes, the Board of Trustees has adopted a Gift Acceptance Policy. Please contact the Library Director in the Administrative Office at 860-665-8729 to have a copy sent to you. View the Gift Acceptance Policy

7. Is there a Donor Naming Policy?

Yes the Board of Trustees has a Donor Naming Recognition Policy in which the naming or name recognition of library facilities, rooms, special use areas, and specialized collections are set forth in this policy.  To learn more please visit The Donor Naming Recognition Policy.

8. How do I mail a donation?

Gifts by check and electronic transfer (including securities) can be initiated and completed through the mail. Simply select the correct giving form for the specific unit or cause, complete it, print it out, and mail to:
