How do I find the deed to my property?

The Town Clerk’s Office has the grand list sorted alphabetically by property address. If you know the exact street address, you can locate the volume and page reference in the land records and obtain a copy of the deed to the property. If you are unsure of the location, we suggest you visit the Assessor’s Office and obtain a copy of the field card.

This will also have the volume/page reference, which we will guide you in locating when you visit our office located at:

200 Garfield Street

Newington, CT 06111
