Barbara Womer, Community Volunteer with the Newington Hunger Action Team, will speak on hunger issues in Newington, the impact hunger has on the community, and how the Hunger Action Team (or HAT) works in collaboration with the town, local businesses, civic organizations, faith-based communities and Newington residents to help alleviate hunger. Please bring a canned good for the Hunger Action Team.

Much of the information he has learned is unknown to the general public and involves such personalities as astronauts Gordon Cooper and Wally Schirra, abductee Travis Walton, and show business diva Eartha Kitt.
