Our Thursday Evening Book Discussion has been revitalized and revamped. It has a new name – Thursday Page Turners, a new schedule and a slightly new format.  The discussion will be facilitated by a library staff member and light refreshments will be served.  Anyone interested is invited to attend any or all.  We hope to see you there.

In 1837, teenaged Victoria ascended to the British throne, untrained and innocent.  She would rule for 63 years.  Victoria wrote an average of 2,500 words a day during her life. From 1832 until just before her death, she kept detailed journals.  Using Queen Victoria's diary and letters, Sally Mummey will reveal the personal details of this powerful yet humane woman.  Registration required.
