We are happy to introduce you to our new form of communication, using the services of our new web provider. As you may have noticed, the Town and the Library have moved to a new and improved web site.  We hope that you like them!  You will now receive email news through this service, rather than through Constant Contact.

Get Custom E-Mail Notifications


If you want to change or add email notifications to receive library information, click on the image  Get Connected, then select Notify Me.  You can sign up to receive monthly news and events emails for: all ages, adults, teens, and/or children's.  You can also sign up for events  calendar notifications for each of the categories. You may sign up for email notices regarding library board meeting agendas and minutes, library building/renovation agendas and minutes and many more town-related news items.  Once you sign up, you will receive an email from listserv@civicplus.com asking you click to  to confirm your subscription. You must click on the link to be added to email notifications that you have selected.  If you have any questions, contact Diane Durette at 860-665-8700 or ddurette@newingtonct.gov.

Family Place is presenting a 4-week series of free workshops for parents and their 1-3 year-old children. Meet other families, share thoughts, and talk with librarians and child development experts as you play and read with your child. Find out about community services that can help you and your family. Brothers and sisters under 5 are invited to join the fun!
