NEWS RELEASE - ARMED ROBBERY
On Friday January 29, 2021 at approximately 7:35 pm Newington Police Officers responded to an armed robbery in progress at the AT&T store located at 3243 Berlin Turnpike in Newington.  Three masked black males armed with handguns forced entry into the store and pistol whipped two store employees.  The males fled after taking merchandise from the store.  The store employees sustained non-life-threatening injuries and one employee was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The suspects are described as all wearing facemasks.  One suspect wore a black knit style mask with a pom pom on top. The second wore a white full-face mask with a skull on it.  This suspect was described as having dark twisted hair.  The third was described as wearing a black shiny mask.  The suspects were wearing all black clothing.  Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Newington Police Department at (860) 666-8445.
