Newington Board of Assessment AppealsThe Board of Assessment Appeals will be holding a Special Meeting on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm to listen to MOTOR VEHICLE assessment appeals ONLY against the October 1, 2018 Grand List. The meeting will occur at the Town Assessor’s office, 131 Cedar Street, Newington, Connecticut.
Anyone interested in meeting with the Board must file an Board of Assessment Appeals Application (PDF) with the Town Assessor no later than September 13, 2019 to ensure a reserved time. Applications are available on-line at the Town of Newington website or by calling the Town Assessor’s office at (860) 665-8530. Anyone that attends the meeting without an application will have to wait until all other taxpayers that did file an application are heard before they will be permitted to meet with the Board.
