Are you 50 years of age or older and need help getting your taxes done? Did you know that the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program provides in-person income tax preparation assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low to moderate-income? The Newington Senior & Disabled Center is pleased to host the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program. Appointments are available 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. each Thursday beginning February 3 through April 14. Tax-Aide volunteers are community members who are trained, IRS-certified, and understand the latest changes and additions to the tax code.
