The Steering Committee is charged with planning and carrying out suitable events to celebrate the 150th year of Newington’s Incorporation. They will be responsible for collection and accounting for any funds or donations received as part of the celebration. As programs and events are created they will be added to this page in order to keep the public informed for significant town wide participation.
150th Steering Committee Resolution
The Town Council is currently soliciting applications for appointment to the 150th Anniversary Steering Committee. The Committee will consist of 21 members that will be selected by the Mayor, Majority, and Minority Leader. The online submission form will be available until December 31, 2018.
