The Newington Skate Park will be closed from Monday, July 6 - Friday, July 10 from 9:00 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily. 

During this week, the Parks and Recreation Department is offering Skateboarding Camps for both basic level skateboarding as well as for intermediate skateboarding.  Camps are held from Monday - Friday, July 6 - 10, and the fee is $115 for resident children ages 7-14.  The Basic Skateboarding Camp will be held from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and the Intermediate Skateboarding Camp is held from 1 - 4 p.m.

All participants must pre-register to attend one of these camps, and no un-registered skateboarders will be allowed at the Skate Park during camp sessions.  To register please call the Parks and Recreation office at 665-8666.
