The Newington Police Department and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration are offering members of the public a chance to get rid of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. 

The drug "Take Back" disposal day is scheduled for April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Newington Police Department located 131 Cedar Street. 

The service is free and anonymous with no questions asked.
