The Newington Parks & Recreation Department
is now accepting applications for Summer Camp Counselors, Lifeguards and Park Maintainters.
Counselors develop daily activities including arts & crafts, sporting activities, special events and creative play for children in grades 1 – 7. Requirements include, but are not limited to, previous experience working with children including babysitting, daycare, student teaching, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work outdoors. Lifeguard applicants must be American Red Cross certified. Park Maintainers must be 18 years of age and older. Applications are available at the Newington Parks & Recreation Department located in the Newington Town Hall or call 665-8666 for more information. Applications are also available online at www.newingtonct.gov and must be received in the Parks & Recreation Office by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25th. No faxed or emailed resumes and/or applications will be accepted.
