WELCOME TO OUR PARKS....

The following is a list of the Town of Newington's park system offering both active and passive recreation opportunities including swimming, pavilion rentals, playgrounds, walking trails, and much more...

Badger Field  A neighborhood park located on Walsh Avenue that has fields for baseball and softball.

Beacon Park  A neighborhood park with a basketball court located on Beacon Street.

Beechwood Park  A neighborhood park located on Brookside Road.  Facilities include a baseball and softball field, basketball court and a playground.

Candlewyck Park  A neighborhood park located on Lamplighter Lane. Facilities include a playground and basketball court.

Churchill Park  A town park located on Main Street.  (Physical address is 1991 Main Street) Facilities include three pavilions available for picnic rentals, horseshoes, softball field, playground, soccer field, tennis courts, outdoor pool, sand volleyball court, basketball court, nature trail, ice skating, bocce, and a child and senior fishing pond.

Clem Lemire Recreation Complex  A town recreation complex located at 150 New Britain Avenue. Facilities include a football field, baseball and little league fields, a playground, and a skatepark.

Eagle Lantern Park  A neighborhood park located on Eagle Drive. Facilities include baseball and softball fields, a playground and basketball court.

Littlebrook Park   A neighborhood park located on Little Brook Drive. Facilities include a playground and basketball court.

Mill Brook Park  A neighborhood park located on Main Street. Facilities include a soccer field and a stream.

Mill Pond Park  Newington's largest town park located on Garfield Street. Facilities include a baseball field, boundless playground, soccer fields, tennis courts, outdoor pool, basketball court, concession stand, walking nature trail, ice skating, football field, fishing pond for children under 16 years of age, and a waterfall.

Seymour Park  A neighborhood park located on Seventh Street. Facilities include baseball and softball fields, playground, soccer field, basketball court, shelter, and a walking trail.

Starr Park  A neighborhood park located on Brook Street. Facilities include a baseball field and basketball court.
