Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a pass?
You may reserve a pass on this webpage or you may call the library at 665-8700 to reserve a pass or you may reserve a pass using a library computer. A library staff member will also be happy to reserve a pass for you. You may reserve passes up to 90 days in advance.

When can I pick up my pass?
Your reserved pass should be available after 1 P.M. on the day before your reservation. Because we cannot control when the pass is actually returned, we advise you to please call 665-8700 to determine if your pass is available.

Are there any limits or penalties?
You may reserve 2 passes per month but you may not exceed 1 reservation per month for the same museum. During the summer and other high use periods passes will be limited to one per week up to 2 per month. If you fail to pick up passes twice in a 90 day period you will be blocked from reserving passes for 90 days. There is a $10.00 per day fine if the pass is not returned on time and the replacement fee for a lost pass is the cost of the pass.

When does the pass need to be returned?
The pass is checked out until the day after your visit to the museum. We request that you return by NOON the day after your visit to the museum so it will be available for other patrons. Passes may be returned in the bookdrop or at the circulation desk.

What does the pass allow me to do?
Passes allow a set number of people to attend the attraction or museum for a reduced rate or free admission. Patrons must abide by the conditions that each location sets forth.

May I borrow a pass on a day that the Library is closed?
Yes, if you wish to visit a museum on a day that the Library is closed, please contact the Library to arrange to pick up the pass on the day prior to the Library's closed day(s).

How do I cancel a reservation?
If you reserve a pass and change your plans, please contact the Library in advance to cancel your reservation. Thank you.
