The 2011 Revaluation of all real estate parcels has begun. The Assessor's Office will have personnel doing field inspections of all condominiums starting Monday, June 28, 2010. The personnel will carry identifcation stating they work for the Assessor's office. They will enter homes to collect or verify data and also will be taking new photographs of each real estate parcel. The concentration will be on condominium developments.
Board of Assessment Appeals to meet on September 16, 2010 to hear appeals on 2009 Regular Motor Vehicle and 2008 Supplemental Motor Vehicle Grand Lists. The meeting will be held in the Assessor's office at 131 Cedar Street, Newington and run from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
